Bloomingdale's Friends & Family Picks

When I was in middle school, Bloomingdale's was one of my favorite stores.  It had my dream dresses for spring sings and awkward middle school dances.  Then I discovered shopbop and sort of forgot about dear old bloomies.  Since I've been using shopstyle, I've been seeing more and more great things from Bloomingdale's and I'm back on the department store train!  I can buy a dress for a wedding, a bedspread for my guest room, and melamine serverware all in the same place (which means my cart has the most random assortment of things).

Currently, Bloomingdale's is having their Friends & Family event which means you can take 25% off almost everything in the store (and unlike shopbop sales, there's no minimum).  Plus, if you sign up for their free insiders program, you also get free shipping.  This post is in no way sponsored, it's just a love letter to a department store.

Some of my top picks from the sale are below and most of them are under $100 with the friends & family discount (no code needed)!

1)This one shoulder dress (perfect for days when you want to look chic but might have stayed out late the night before and are now feeling really bloated--we've all been there).  Just please wear it with heels, the higher the better.  If you're up for a splurge, I've had these nude pumps for a few years and always get so many compliments on them.  They're way more comfortable than some of the Nine West styles I used to wear.

2) I bought this yellow dress to wear to a rehearsal dinner but now I'm sort of wishing I'd bought this light blue option too.

3) This striped short sleeved dress would be great for the races.  I'd love it for Saratoga with these heels and maybe this fun straw bucket bag.

4)  I love this floral sundress.  It would be great for a Sunday Funday or dinner at a friend's house.  I love that I could also wear it to the Farmer's Market with flat raffia sandals and a massive tote bag.

5) In case you didn't already know, blue is one of my favorite colors.  And this blue floral dress looks like something I could wear to work, dinner, weekends by the pool and more.

6) I also happen to love linen, especially when I'm dealing with Kentucky humidity.  This striped linen shirt dress is another basic I could wear to work and on the weekends.  Plus the lavender color makes it a touch more feminine!

Other great finds are below.  I love this Matouk bedspread, I've had one for a few years now and it's held up really well.  It's also a great price right now with the sale.
