Chinoiserie-Chic Home Finds

I've always loved a touch of chinoiserie in any room (or if it's my house, every room).  I've combed through the depths of Amazon to pull together chinoiserie finds that look very expensive but won't break the bank.

1. This silk screen would look absolutely incredible over a bed, sofa, or sideboard in a dining room and is insanely inexpensive for the size (36" x 72").  It comes in a few other styles but this color combo is my favorite.  It's a great way to make a statement in a room for under $200.

2.  You can't write about chinoiserie without including something blue & white.  I love this umbrella stand. It would look great in a front hall or mudroom.  I have a similar one in my house that has umbrellas, walking sticks, and tennis racquets in it which gives the room a nicely layered look.
3.  This navy blue lacquer pagoda mirror is another great chinoiserie find.  They sell a similar option at Wisteria for $800 so this is a great find for less than half that price!
4.  If the above mirror is a bit over budget, this rattan option is another great find and looks a lot like the ones at Serena & Lily! I'm considering using this in a bathroom I'm redoing.  I like mixing natural elements into a traditional black & white bathroom and think this would be a good way to do that!
5.  Not sure if you want to go all out on the chinoiserie-chic look? Throw pillows are a great way to try out new styles without getting in too deep.  At under $20 and a Duralee fabric with velvet backing, these throw pillows would be a cute addition to any sitting room, guest room, or master.
6.  If you're looking for a statement piece of furniture, this bookcase is the one to go with.  It's definitely chinoiserie but also neutral enough to be stylish with any decor.  Alternate stacking books on their side and shelving them the normal way, throw in a few decorative objects and boxes and voilá, you have nicely styled shelves.
7.  Garden stools are another classic element of chinoiserie style.  I love the geometric edges on this one.  It would be great tucked in next to a bedside table or next to an accent chair in a corner.  They have infinite uses and I have several scattered around my house.
8.  I think this bench would be so pretty at the foot of a twin bed or under a window.  It also comes in a vanity stool size.  There's also a blue & white option but I prefer the green version.
9.  This hot pink bamboo bar cart is giving off serious Palm Beach vibes and I'm loving it. The tray top is removable which makes it great for entertaining.  And they have this exact bar cart on One Kings Lane for more than this Amazon price. If you're not quite ready to go with hot pink, they have a lovely navy version here
10.  And last, but not least, these cachepots would be a great way to dress up a grocery store orchid or to hold your keys on the kitchen counter.
I hope you like these finds.  Let me know what you think of these in the comments. And if you have anything to add, I always love to hear from you!
