As addicted as I am to Amazon Prime, I decided to branch out and include things from a few more places in this month's roundup. Target has some beautiful things right now including some great One Kings Lane dupes like this patio umbrella (you can see the One Kings Lane version here). I'm loving spending most of my time outside right now and am excited to share some of the things I've been wanting to spruce up my terrace with.
For my table, I think these scalloped melamine plates look very Aerin for Williams Sonoma and would look great with these moroccan pattered ones stacked on top. I also think these pink ikat napkins are a great pop of color. I have limited outdoor lighting and zero plugs on my terrace so these solar paneled lanterns would be a great way to light the space without having to scrape wax out of the bottom of a traditional lantern. This pitcher is also a great acrylic version of a glass favorite and these tortoise glasses are great too!
I have this outdoor sofa from Target and think it's gorgeous for the price (especially when you compare it to this One Kings Lane sofa that's about 2k more expensive). I always recommend treating outdoor cushions with scotchguard in case you accidentally leave them outside when it rains--anyone else have that problem?
I just came back from an amazing weekend in Texas where I rediscovered my love of margaritas and topo chico. While I was there, I was introduced to a great new drink that they were calling a Diablo (see the recipe below). It's full of flavor, very refreshing, and I'm looking forward to serving this at my next outdoor dinner party. I'm also excited to show off my citrus peeler skills.
Speaking of dinner parties, this cookbook is unfortunately backordered but I listened to an interview with the author the other day and my mouth was literally watering. I love big plates of Italian food and so many of these recipes appeal to me. I love her Mexican Cookbook too.
