I head to Saratoga Springs, NY early next week and couldn't be more excited. It's one of my favorite places in the world and early August around the horse sales is such a fun time to be there! I'll have a packed social calendar so it's crucial to pack wisely (especially because I go straight from there to my best friend's wedding in Maine!). I have to pack light but also have enough outfits to get me through a week of racing, cocktail parties, work, sale nights, and still have basics I can wear when I'm just hanging out on friends' porches. One of my current favorite earring styles, the Marigold Earring, reminds me so much of my favorite block print fabrics. For some reason, I've always loved block prints. And I love them everywhere... my everyday napkin drawer has four different patterns of block print napkins (thanks, in no small part, to the Pomegranate warehouse sale), my closet is filled with block print shirts, I have block print bathing suits, and my tablecloth drawer is...overflowing with block print.
